![]() ![]() After the reversal of ileostomy was repaired, it left a gaping hole, which needed to be packed with gauze and a bandage for healing. After chemo/radiation, I had surgery to remove the remaining cancer and in the process, had a temporary ileostomy.The ileostomy bag, which covered my temporary stoma just above my beltline, was difficult to deal with while wearing a belt,so I found a simple solution, called a StomaDome, which took pressure off the connection itself and allowed me to wear a belt, but it was still not right as the bag and the dome would shift around, and my belt would find its way under it.So, I used the soft elastic band of the PoppyPocket to cover it and I was amazed at the results!
